September Article Roundup

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these. Here are a few of my favorite articles and posts from around the internet this month (and last month too, for that matter). Enjoy!

God Made You a Writer: An Invitation to Every Christian | This was a really good challenge both for writers and non-writers.

Living the Whole Life | Lore writes with a beautiful blend of poetry and truth. I read this last month while sitting in the lobby on lunch break, and it was a helpful reminder (still is).

Repentance is a Posture | “To behold God is to behold yourself with painful clarity.”

America, Let’s Make Tea Time Great Again | I knew there was a deeper reason behind all our country’s issues. Elevenses sounds like a viable solution.

How Mormons are Winning the Internet | This one’s more for my fellow bloggers. It was a really interesting look at how Mormons use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to put their websites near the top of Google searches, plus some resources to learn more about SEO and how to use it.

Defy Augury | My friend Sarah Merly just started her own blog, and it’s already a beautiful site. My favorite post so far is this one.

How has your September been? It’s hard to believe it’s already almost the end of the month. This whole year has pretty much flown by. No semblance of fall has touched my corner of Florida yet, but I’m excited for it. Let’s go, pumpkin spice! (kidding, I promise)

“For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.” (Colossians 1:9-12)
